Tomato Rice Bath
Tomato Rice Bath, a rice item, rice cooked in tomato, peas, spice powder.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice
- 3 big Tomato
- 1/4 cup Green Peas
- 1/4 cup Curd
- 1 big Onion
- 1 Green chilly
- 1 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1+1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 cloves
- 1/2" Cinnamon
- 1 Cardamom
- 1" Ginger
- 8 cloves Garlic
- 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
- 1/4 cup Mint leaves
- 2 Bay leaf
- 6 Cashew
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1 tsp Red chilly powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 2 cup Water
Instructions
- In a kadai add coriander seeds, cumin seeds, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom, dry roast it for 2 to 3 mins on medium flame. keep aside.
- Green paste: In a mixing jar add dry roasted spices, ginger, garlic, chopped coriander leaves and mint leaves, make a fine paste, add 1 tbsp water if required.
- In a pressure cooker add oil, cumin seeds, bay leaf, saute it. add cashew, fry for 30 sec.
- Add onion, cook till translucent, add green chilly , tomato slices, cook till tomatoes become soft, add green paste, soaked green peas or frozen green peas, mix well.
- Add red chilly powder, turmeric powder, curd, give a stir, add washed and soaked rice.
- Add lemon juice, water, salt, mix well.
- close the lid, cook for 2 whistle.
- Tomato Rice Bath is ready to have.
