Tomato-Onion Chutney
Tomato-onion chutney a smooth blender of tomato onion, delicious, side dish for dosa, idli, paddu, even great side dish for chapati and rice.

Ingredients
- 4 Tomato medium size
- 2 Onion medium size
- 2 tsp Channa dal
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 2 to 3 Red Chilly Kashmiri chilly or Byadagi chilly
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1/2 tsp Salt
Instructions
- In a pan add 1tbsp oil, cumin seeds, channa dal, saute.
- Add dry red chilly, saute.
- Now add onion slices, stir.
- Add tomatoes, salt.
- Mix well.
- Close the lid and cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame.
- Allow it to cool down.
- Add cooked tomato-onion mixture to a mixing jar.
- Blend it a fine paste, do not add water.
