Roasted Chana Dal Powder Poha / Putani Hittu Avalakki, a poha recipe, tempered poha seasoned with roasted chana dal powder.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Thick Poha
- 1/2 cup Roasted Chana Dal / Putani
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Mustard seeds
- 1 tbsp Chana dal
- 1 tbsp Urad dal
- 2 tbsp Peanut
- 2 string Curry Leaves
- 2 Green Chilly chopped
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1 big Tomato chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Coriander Leaves chopped
Instructions
- In a mixing jar add roasted chana dal.
- Blend to fine powder, keep aside.
- In a bowl add washed poha.
- Add water, soak poha for 5 mins, squeeze out the water after 5 mins, keep poha aside.
- In a pan add oil, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal, peanuts.
- Saute.
- Add curry leaves, green chilly, onion.
- Saute.
- Now add tomato, salt, turmeric powder.
- Saute, cook for 2 mins on medium flame
- Add squeezed poha, switch off the flame.
- Mix well.
- Now add roasted chana dal powder.
- Mix.
- Garnish with coriander leaves.
