  • 1 cup Ragi Flour
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Oil / Ghee

For Slurry :

  • 4 tbsp Water
  • 2 tbsp Ragi Flour


Prepare Slurry :

  • In a cup add 4 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of ragi flour.
  • Mix it well, no lumps slurry is ready, keep aside.

Ragi Balls Preparation :

  • In a kadai add 2 cups of water, salt, oil/ghee, bring it to boil.
  • When water comes to boil, add prepared slurry.
  • Keep stirring till the mixture thickens.
  • Lower the flame, add 1 cup of ragi flour.
  • Keep stirring till the flour blends well.
  • Cover the lid and steam it for 2-3 mins on low flame.
  • Give a stir.
  • In a plate, add a portion of ragi mixture.
  • Wet your fingers.
  • Knead and prepare balls.
  • Soft, Silky Smooth, Healthy Wholesome Food Ragi ball is ready to have.
