Ragi Ball / ರಾಗಿ ಮುದ್ದೆ
Ragi Ball / ರಾಗಿ ಮುದ್ದೆ, a simple and healthy, wholesome food of Karnataka, soft and smooth balls prepared by ragi/finger millet flour and water.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Ragi Flour
- 2 cup Water
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 tbsp Oil / Ghee
For Slurry :
- 4 tbsp Water
- 2 tbsp Ragi Flour
Instructions
Prepare Slurry :
- In a cup add 4 tbsp of water, 2 tbsp of ragi flour.
- Mix it well, no lumps slurry is ready, keep aside.
Ragi Balls Preparation :
- In a kadai add 2 cups of water, salt, oil/ghee, bring it to boil.
- When water comes to boil, add prepared slurry.
- Keep stirring till the mixture thickens.
- Lower the flame, add 1 cup of ragi flour.
- Keep stirring till the flour blends well.
- Cover the lid and steam it for 2-3 mins on low flame.
- Give a stir.
- In a plate, add a portion of ragi mixture.
- Wet your fingers.
- Knead and prepare balls.
- Soft, Silky Smooth, Healthy Wholesome Food Ragi ball is ready to have.
