Radish Leaves Sabji / Moolangi Soppu Palya, a simple recipe, radish leaves cooked in mustard, onion, green chilly tempering, garnished with grated coconut.

  • 3 cups Radish Leaves chopped
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 3 Green chilly slits
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Coconut grated


  • In a pan add oil, add mustard seeds, as it start to sputter, add green chillies, onion, saute.
  • Add chopped radish leaves, salt, stir well, close the lid and cook well for 5 to 6 mins on medium flame.
  • Now add grated coconut.
  • Mix well.
  • Radish leaves sabji / Moolangi soppu palya is ready to have.
