Pineapple Sheera / Kesari / Halwa
Pineapple Sheera/Kesari/Halwa, a sweet dish, semolina sheera prepared using chopped pineapple and saffron.

Ingredients
- 1 cup Semolina
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/3 + 1/4 cup Ghee / Clarified Butter
- 1.5 tbsp Cashew
- 1 tbsp Raisins
- 4 Cloves
- 2 tbsp Milk
- 1/8 tsp Saffron strands
- 3 cups Water
- 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder
Instructions
- Soak saffron strands in hot/warm milk for 10 mins.
- In a pan add 1/3 cup ghee, cashew, raisins, cloves.
- Saute it for 1 min on medium flame.
- Add Semolina / Rava / Sooji.
- Saute it for 6-7 mins on low flame.
- Add 3 cups boiling water, mix well, till no lumps.
- Add chopped pineapple.
- Mix.
- Add sugar.
- Mix well, sugar melts, cook for 2 mins on low flame.
- Add saffron soaked milk.
- Mix well.
- Add cardamom powder, 1/4 cup ghee.
- Stir well.
- Close the lid and cook for 4-5 mins on low flame.
- Yummy Dessert Pineapple Sheera / Kesari / Halwa is ready to have.
