Ingredients

  • 1 cup Palak / Spinach
  • 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 Green Chilly
  • 1/2 tbsp Maida / All Purpose Flour
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/8 tsp White Pepper Powder
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Cream

Instructions

  • In a pan add 1 tbsp unsalted butter, bay leaf, saute.
  • Add garlic, green chilly, onion, saute.
  • Now add palak.
  • Saute for 2 mins on medium flame.
  • Discard bay leaf, add sauted palak mixture to mixing jar.
  • Blend it fine paste.
  • In a pan add 1 tbsp unsalted butter, maida.
  • Saute for 2 mins on low flame.
  • Add milk.
  • Bring it to boil, keep stirring till it becomes thick.
  • Add sugar, salt, white pepper powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Add palak puree.
  • Mix well, add water.
  • Stir and cook for 3-4 mins on medium flame, keep stirring.
  • Add fresh cream, give a stir.
  • Creamy Palak Soup is ready to have.
