  • 1 cup Paneer
  • 2 cup Palak/Spinach
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 2+1 tbsp Oil
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 6-7 cloves Garlic
  • 2 tbsp Cashew Nuts
  • 3-4 Green Chilly
  • 1+2 tbsp Coriander Leaves
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 Bay Leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 large Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato chopped
  • 1 tbsp Mint Leaves
  • 1/4 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 cup Water
  • 1 tsp Salt


  • In a pan add oil, paneer pieces, fry till golden brown, keep aside.
  • In a vessel add ginger, garlic, cashew nuts, green chilly, saute.
  • Add palak, saute.
  • Add coriander leaves, saute.
  • In a mixing jar add sauted palak mixture, blend to fine paste.
  • In a pressure cooker, add ghee, bay leaves, cumin seeds, chopped onion, saute till onion gets translucent.
  • Add chopped tomato, mint leaves, coriander leaves, saute.
  • Add palak paste, mix it well.
  • Now add salt. turmeric powder, garam masala powder, mix it well.
  • Add water, stir.
  • Now add rice, fried paneer, give a stir.
  • Close the lid and cook for 2 whistles.
  • Simple Yet Delicious Palak Paneer Pulao is ready to have.
