Palak Paneer / Green Paneer
Palak Paneer, a thick gravy recipe, paneer cooked in spinach puree, and seasoned with other spices.

Ingredients
- 200 grams Palak / Spinach
- 200 grams Paneer
- 2 medium Tomato
- 2 medium Onion
- 5 Green chilly
- 6 to 7 Garlic
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 tbsp Cashew
- 1 tbsp Kasuri Methi
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1/2 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Fresh Cream
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 2 Cloves
- 4 Cloves
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Bay Leaf
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Onion Paste : In a vessel add water, onion, ginger, garlic, green chilly, cashew, cook for 5 to 6 mins, let it cool down.Grind it fine paste.
- Palak Paste :In a vessel add water, bring it to boil, add spinach, cook for 2 mins, remove and place spinach in ice cold water.Grind spinach to fine paste.
- In a pan add oil, add paneer slices, fry on both side till golden brown.
- In a pan add oil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, cumin seeds, bay leaves, saute for 1 min.
- Add onion paste, stir, add tomatoes, mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 mins on medium flame.
- Now add spinach paste, mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 mins.
- Add turmeric powder, salt, garam masala powder, mix and cook for 3 to4 mins on medium flame.
- Now add crushed kasuri methi, give a stir, add fresh cream, Lastly add fried paneer, mix well.
- Palak Paneer ready to have.
