Mughlai Pudina Chicken Curry
Mughlai Pudina Chicken Curry, a thick curry, curd marinated chicken cooked in green masala paste and brown onion paste.

Ingredients
- 500 grams Chicken
- 1/2 cup Pudina / mint leaves
- 1/3 cup Coriander leaves
- 3/4 cup Brown Onion
- 2 big Tomatoes
- 4 Green chilly
- 1 inch Ginger
- 7 - 8 cloves Garlic
- 2 tbsp Cashew
- 1/4 cup Curd
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- 1 tsp Garam masala powder
- 1 tsp Black pepper
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 2 cardamom
- 4 Cloves
- 1 Star anise
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tbsp Salt
Instructions
Marination :
- In a mixing bowl add chicken, turmeric powder, curd, salt, mix well, marinate this for 30 mins.
Green Masala Paste :
- In a mixing jar add black pepper, pudina/mint, coriander leaves, green chilly, ginger, garlic, little water, grind it to fine paste.
Cashew Paste :
- In a mixing jar add cashew and little water, grind it to fine paste.
Tomato Puree :
- In a mixing jar add tomatoes, grind it .
Brown Onion Paste :
- In a mixing jar add brown onion + water, grind it to fine paste.
- In a kadai add oil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, star anise, saute it for 1 min.
- Add onion paste, saute it for 1 more min, add marinated chicken, mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 mins on medium flame.
- Now add green masala paste, stir well, close the lid and cook for 5 mins on medium flame.
- Add tomato puree, salt, close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 mins.
- Add garam masala powder, cashew paste, stir well, close the lid and cook for 2 mins.
- Garnish with fresh cream.
- Mughlai Pudina Chicken Curry ready to have.
