Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup Moong beans soaked
  • 1.5 cup Dill Leaves chopped
  • 1 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 2 strings Curry Leaves
  • 2 Green chilly chopped
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 small Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 tbsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Coconut grated

Instructions

  • In a pressure cooker add soaked moong beans, water.
  • Close the lid and cook for 1-2 whistles.
  • In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, curry leaves, green chilly, onion.
  • Saute, cook till translucent.
  • Add tomato, salt, turmeric powder.
  • Mix well, cook for 2 mins on medium flame.
  • Add chopped dill leaves.
  • Stir well.
  • Close the lid and cook for 2--3 mins on medium flame.
  • Add cooked moong beans, mix well, cook for 2-3 mins.
  • Add grated coconut, give a stir.
  • Moong Beans Dill Leaves Sabji / Hesaru Kaalu Sabbasige Soppu Palya is ready to have.
