Menthya-Halasina Bele Palya / Methi-Jackfruit Seed Sabji
Menthya-Halasina Bele Palya / Methi-Jackfruit Seed Sabji, Methi leaves and crushed jackfruit seeds cooked in cumin-garlic tempering and garnished with grated coconut.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Fenugreek Leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup Jackfruit Seeds crushed
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 8-10 cloves Garlic crushed
- 3-4 strings Curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Sugar
- 3-4 Green chilly slits
- 1 big Onion chopped
- 1/4 cup Coconut grated
- 1/3 cup Water
Instructions
- In a kadai add oil, cumin seeds, garlic cloves, curry leaves, Saute.
- Add green chilly, onion. Cook till onion gets translucent.
- Add turmeric powder, salt. Mix.
- Remove skin of jackfruit seeds, crush and make 4 pieces.
- Add crushed jackfruit seeds, mix well.
- Now add water.
- Close the lid and cook for 4-5 mins on medium flame.
- Now add chopped fenugreek leaves, sugar.
- Stir well.
- Close the lid and cook for 3-4 mins on medium flame.
- Stir, cook till water gets drains.
- Add grated coconut, stir.
- Menthya-Halasina Bele Palya / Methi-Jackfruit Seed Sabji is ready to have.
