Ingredients

Green Masala paste :

  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp pepper corns
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 5 - 6 cloves Garlic
  • 5 - 6 Green chilly
  • 1/2 tbsp Tamarind Paste
  • 1/3 cup Mint Leaves
  • 1/2 cup Coriander Leaves

Other Ingredients :

  • 6 Mackerel Fish
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 cup Rava/Sooji
  • 1/4 cup Oil

Instructions

Green Masala Paste :

  • In a mixing jar add cumin seeds, pepper corns, ginger, garlic, green chilly, tamarind paste, mint, coriander leaves.
  • Blend it to fine paste, do not add water.
  • Green Masala paste is ready.

Fish Marination :

  • Cut the side of the fish, and remove fish bone. (as shown in recipe video below)
  • Add salt, turmeric powder to the prepared green masala paste, mix well
  • Apply the paste on both the sides of the fish.
  • Marinate this for minimum 30 mins.

Prepare fry :

  • Roll the marinated fish on the rava.
  • Add this to hot tawa, apply oil.
  • cook both the sides for about 2 to 3 mins each on medium flame.
  • Mackerel Green Masala Tawa Fry is ready to have.
