Ladies Finger / Bendekayi Chutney, shallow fried ladies finger blend with green chilly, garlic and tamarind.

Ingredients

  • 9 - 10 Ladies Finger / Bendekayi
  • 3 tbsp Oil
  • 1 string Curry Leaves
  • 2 - 3 Green Chilly
  • 6 - 7 small Garlic
  • 10 Pepper corns
  • 1 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/2 tbsp Tamarind
  • 1/4 cup Coriander leaves
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Instructions

  • In a pan add oil, curry leaves, green chilly, garlic, pepper corns, cumin seeds.
  • Saute.
  • Now add tamarind, coriander leaves.
  • Saute for 2 min on medium flame.
  • Keep aside.
  • To the same pan, add chopped ladies finger.
  • Saute it for 5 mins on medium flame till light brown.
  • In a mixing jar add these fried ladies finger, spices, and salt.
  • Blend it without adding water.
  • Ladies Finger / Bendekayi Chutney is ready to have.
