Ingredients

  • 1 cup Bansi Rava
  • 2 tbsp Oil
  • 1 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1 tbsp Chana dal
  • 1 tbsp Urad Dal
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 1 medium Tomato chopped
  • 2 strings Curry leaves
  • 1 Green Chilly chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger grated
  • 1/3 cup Beans chopped
  • 1/3 cup Carrot chopped
  • 2 tbsp Cashew
  • 1/3 cup Green peas
  • 1/3 cup Capsicum
  • 2 tsp Vangibath Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 3 cup Water
  • 2 tbsp Ghee
  • 2 tbsp Coriander leaves chopped
  • 3 tbsp Coconut grated
  • 1/2 Lemon

Instructions

  • In a kadai add oil, mustard seeds, chana dal, urad dal.
  • Saute.
  • Add green chilly, curry leaves, grated ginger, onion.
  • Saute.
  • Now add tomato, beans, carrot.
  • Mix well, close the lid and cook for 2 mins on medium flame.
  • Add capsicum, cashew, green peas, saute.
  • Now add vangibath powder, turmeric powder, salt.
  • Mix well.
  • Add water, mix.
  • Close the lid.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Now add rava/sooji/semolina slowly, mix well.
  • Close the lid and cook for 2 to 3 mins on low flame.
  • Add coriander leaves, grated coconut, ghee, lemon.
  • Switch off the flame, mix well.
  • Spicy Khara Bath is ready to have.
