Jackfruit Seed Biryani
Jackfruit Seed Biryani, Biryani prepared by peeled and washed jackfruit seeds.

Ingredients
- 2 cups Jeera Sambar Rice Washed and soaked
- 1 cup Jackfruit Seeds Peeled and washed
- 3 tbsp Oil
- 2 tbsp Ghee
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 3 Cardamom
- 4 Cloves
- 1 Star Anise
- 8-10 Pepper Corns
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds
- 1.5 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
- 2 big Onion slices
- 2 medium Tomato chopped
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 2 tbsp Coriander Powder
- 2 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
- 1 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 cup Curd
- 1/2 cup Coriander leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup Mint Leaves
- 3 cups Water
Instructions
- Wash and soak jeera sambar rice for about 20 mins.
- Peel the skin of jackfruit seeds, wash and keep aside.
- In a pressure cooker add oil+ghee, add all dry spices.
- Add ginger garlic paste, saute.
- Add onion slices, saute.
- Cook till onion gets translucent.
- Add chopped tomatoes, saute.
- Cook till tomatoes becomes soft.
- Add turmeric powder, coriander powder, red chilly powder, garam masala powder, Mix well.
- Add curd, simmer the flame, mix.
- Now add peeled and washed jackfruit seeds, mix.
- Add coriander leaves, mint leaves, stir well.
- Add salt, mix.
- Now add water and rice, mix gently.
- Close the lid and cook for 2 whistles.
- Jackfruit Seed Biryani is ready to have.
