Green Chilly Rice / Menasinakai Chitranna
Green Chilly Rice, Cooked rice seasoned with fried green chilly paste.

Ingredients
- 1 Bowl Cooked Rice
- 12 - 15 Green Chilly
- 1/2 Cup Fresh Coconut Grated
- 2 - 3 tbsp Coriander Leaves finely Chopped
- 1 Lemon Big
- 1 - 2 String Curry leaves
- 1 tsp Channa dal
- 1 tsp Urad dal
- 2 tbsp Peanut
- 1/2 tbsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Mustard
- 4 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- In a pan add 2 tbsp oil, add green chilly, fry till it changes colour. keep aside, let it cool down.
- Green Chilly paste: Add fried green chilly to a blender, blend it coarsely, do not add water.
- In a kadai add oil, mustard, as mustard starts to splutter, add channa dal and urad dal, fry till it turns light brown, now add peanut, fry for a min, add curry leaves, fry for 10 secs, add green chilly paste, fry for 2 mins in medium flame.
- Now add salt mix well. switch off the flame and add lemon juice.
- Now add cooked rice, grated coconut mix well.
- Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves.
- Spicy Green Chilly Rice ready to eat.
