Crab Masala Fry
Crab Masala Fry, crab is cooked till dry in spices masala paste.

Ingredients
- 1 kg Crab
- 4 tbsp Oil
- 1 inch Cinnamon
- 4 Cloves
- 2 Cardamom
- 1/2 tbsp Fennel Seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- 1 tbsp Pepper corns
- 2 tbsp Coriander Seeds
- 1 inch Ginger
- 8-10 cloves Garlic
- 8-9 Dry Red Chilly
- 1 big Onion
- 2 medium Tomato
- 5-6 strings Curry Leaves
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
Instructions
Masala Paste :
- In a kadai add 2 tbsp oil, cinnamon, cloves, cardamom, fennel seeds, cumin seeds, pepper corns, coriander seeds, dry red chilly, ginger, garlic. Saute it for 2 mins on medium flame. Add onion, tomato.
- Saute, close the lid and cook till tomatoes become soft. Let it cool down, blend it fine paste.
Preparing crab masala fry
- In a vessel add 2 tbsp oil, curry leaves, crabs. Close the lid and cook for 2-3 mins on high flame.
- Add prepared masala paste, water or masala water, salt. Close the lid and stir the vessel with the help of kitchen napkin.
- Flip the crab, add turmeric powder, curry leaves, stir.
- Close the lid and cook for 5 mins on high flame.
- Cook till masala gets dry, keep stirring in between.
- Crab Masala Fry is ready to have.
