  • 1 cup Chickpeas soaked
  • 1/4 cup Rice soaked
  • 2 tbsp Coconut
  • 1/4 inch Ginger
  • 4 Green Chilly
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/8 tsp Asafoetida/hing
  • 2 strings Curry leaves
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 2 tbsp Oil


  • In a mixing jar add soaked chickpeas, soaked rice, coconut, ginger, asafoetida, green chilly, cumin seeds, curry leaves, salt and water.
  • Blend it to fine paste.
  • Transfer to a bowl, add water according to batter consistency.
  • Heat a dosa tawa.
  • Pour the batter.
  • Spread using ladle.
  • Sprinkle some oil.
  • Cook for a min.
  • Flip the dosa.
  • Cook for 1 more min on other side.
