ಬೇರ ಹಲಸು ರವಾ ಫ್ರೈ/ Breadfruit Rava Fry / Deevi Halasu Rava Fry, sliced and marinated breadfruit, dipped in semolina, shallow fried.

Ingredients
- 1 Bread Fruit/Deevi Halasu/Bera Halasu
- 2 tbsp Red Chilly Powder
- 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 Lemon
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
- 1/3 cup Semolina /Rava
- 2 tbsp Oil
Instructions
- Bread Fruit.
- Peel off the skin.
- Vertically cut into 4 pieces.
- Remove the top spongy part.
- Cut into slices, keep it in water.
- Dry using kitchen towel, keep aside.
- In a vessel add breadfruit, red chilly powder, turmeric powder, hing, salt, lemon juice, mix well.
- Marinate for 15-20 mins.
- Roll marinated bread fruit slices on semolina, keep aside.
- Heat a tawa, grease oil, place breadfruit slices, sprinkle some oil, cook for 5 mins on low-medium flame.
- Flip, sprinkle some oil, cook for another 5 mins on low-medium flame.
