Ambode / Masala Vada / Chana Dal Vada
Ambode / Masala Vada / Chana Dal Vada, Blend of soaked chana dal, ginger, green chilly with a mixture of coriander leaves-curry leaves-dill leaves, deep fried in oil.

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Chana Dal / Kadale Bele soaked
- 1 inch Ginger
- 2 Green chilly
- 1/4 inch Cinnamon
- 1 Cloves
- 1/4 cup Coriander Leaves chopped
- 1 tbsp Curry Leaves chopped
- 1/2 cup Dill Leaves chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Asafoetida / Hing
- 1 medium Onion chopped
- 1/4 cup Fresh Coconut grated
- 2 cup Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing jar add cinnamon, cloves, ginger, green chilly.
- Blend it coarse.
- Add soaked chana dal.
- Blend it coarse.
- In a bowl add coarse paste of chana dal, dill leaves, coriander leaves, curry leaves, onion, grated coconut, hing, salt.
- Mix well.
- Heat oil in a kadai, wet hands and prepare small patties, deep fry both the sides till golden brown.
- Crispy Tasty Ambode / Masala Vada / Chana Dal Vada is ready to have.
